Honoring Students

The Graudating High School Senior must have a mimimum grade point average or 95 and have earned at least one endorsement with Distinguished Level of Achievement.

Honoring Teachers

Each Student has selected an educator who has had the most signifiable impact on their education. The teacher is honored with a special Igniting the Spirit award for their ability to touch young lives.

Every Teacher/Student Receive a Memory Book

Each Memory Book contains information about the senior and why they chose their "Igniting the Spirit Teacher"

"If I hadn’t heard that Mrs. Esquivel was hosting a meeting for a club called Speech and Debate and that they were giving out free pizza, I don’t know where I’d be now. Mrs. Esquivel is an incredible teacher, coach, and mentor, and I cannot even begin to describe how impactful she’s been on my high school career. By not only encouraging and coaching me in speech and debate but also being so incredibly devoted to the activity that’s made me so successful, Mrs. Esquivel has done more to make sure
I succeeded and excelled than almost anyone else in my life. I would not have reached the heights I have in speech and debate or been accepted to University of Texas without her guidance, coaching, and impact.
